• The launch: Australian C-UAS company DroneShield launched RfRecon, a portable RF intelligence device built on its RfAI-3 architecture, letting operators sense, locate, and assess RF activity from a single platform rather than piecing together data from multiple systems.

  • The specs: RfRecon offers roughly six times more spectrum coverage, four times greater processing power, 31 times more storage, and eight times more memory than prior solutions, adding direction finding, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, Remote ID, and AIS/ADS-B detection.

  • The fit: Designed for dismounted, vehicle-mounted, and fixed-site use, RfRecon integrates with ATAK and third-party C2 platforms and can feed into layered counter-UAS systems including cyber takeover and kinetic defeat capabilities. It's available now to qualified defence and government customers.
