- French firm SEABER launched RAVEN, a 13 kg autonomous underwater vehicle that one operator can deploy, diving to 300 metres and running up to eight hours.
- It carries side-scan sonar, with a magnetometer or camera and lighting options, and uses SEABER’s own optical LYNX navigation, with a satellite receiver it says resists jamming.
- SEABER claims performance close to high-end AUVs at about one-third of the price, but gave no price, customers or delivery date.
