• The first F-15EX destined for Kadena flew from Boeing's St. Louis facility on 4 and 15 August with full livery.

  • Kadena will receive 36 F-15EX jets replacing its retired F-15C/D fleet, with the 67th Fighter Squadron first to operate them.

  • Full delivery has slipped from an initial spring 2026 target to 2027, with completion expected by 2028.
