NATO's NSPA (Support and Procurement Agency) has issued a call for tenders for the preliminary design phase of the Next Generation Rotorcraft Capability programme.
Four manufacturers, Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Sikorsky, and Boeing, will each submit two preliminary design solutions by August 2027.
The programme involves six nations and aims to replace helicopters such as the NH90 and H225M within fifteen to twenty years.
