Boeing, Polish aviation company WZL-1 and WCBKT defense company signed a deal to build one of Europe's largest Apache maintenance centres in Poland.
Poland leases 8 AH-64D Apaches now, pending delivery of 96 AH-64E Apache Guardians it bought for $10 billion by 2028.
The purchase remains controversial in Poland over cost and battlefield relevance, while Ukraine focuses instead on Bell Textron helicopters.
