Raytheon and Composite Energy Technology demonstrated HADALUS launching underwater during a US Navy exercise on an undersea test range.
The 34-foot UUV has over 2,000 nautical miles of endurance and costs roughly one-third to one-fifth of comparable vehicles.
Built in under 18 months, HADALUS aims to perform detect, reacquire, and engage functions within a single autonomous mission.
